UltraCool® Transitional film darkens from UV rays from sunlight and returns to its original light transmission when not in sunlight
The photochromic darkening aspect is what make this film very unique and will transition, Light/Darker/Light etc, for a minimum period of 13 years!
As the film darkens from sunlight, brightness is reduced and heat rejection increases. Depending on the intensity of sunlight the film can darken by 15% - 25%.
